TechFlow reports that on February 28, according to a blog post by the Ethereum Foundation, the external security audit of Ethereum's Pectra system contracts has been completed, with all identified relevant or significant issues resolved. The audit covered several Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIP-2935, EIP-7002, and EIP-7251), primarily assessing potential attack vectors in the contracts and ensuring the contract logic accurately implements the intended functionality.
The audit employed a multi-phase approach, involving assessments by four firms—Blackthorn, Dedaub, PlainShift, and Sigma Prime—with code improvements made after each round of auditing.
