TechFlow news — On February 27, according to social media disclosures by Justin Sun, he has won a defamation lawsuit against Sina. The Beijing Internet Court issued a civil ruling determining that Sina's 2022 article titled "Justin Sun Suspected of Insider Trading; FBI and IRS Have Launched Investigations" infringed upon Justin Sun’s right to reputation.
Sina has chosen not to appeal and has published an apology statement on its website, while also paying Justin Sun 31,338 RMB in compensation.
The legal case lasted six years. Justin Sun stated that this victory is not only a win for his personal reputation but also a triumph for the rule of law, justice, and the industry. Justin Sun has confirmed receipt of the compensation payment.
