TechFlow news, on February 27, according to Bitdeer data, at a Bitcoin price of $84,859.69, seven out of 16 popular Bitcoin mining rigs have reached or exceeded their shutdown prices. The WhatsMiner M53s, with a shutdown price of $83,878.96, is already in a critical state, generating only $0.17 in daily revenue. Six other miners—WhatsMiner M50, Antminer S19 Pro (water-cooled), Antminer S19j Pro, Antminer S19 Pro, WhatsMiner M30S++, and Antminer S19—are no longer profitable, with electricity costs exceeding 110% of revenue.
Among the miners still profitable, the Antminer S21 (water-cooled) has the lowest shutdown price at $51,617.82, with electricity costs accounting for 60.72% of revenue. The Sealevel A2 (water-cooled) and A2 standard models have a shutdown price of $53,230.88, with electricity costs representing 62.61%. The WhatsMiner M63S and M60S have a shutdown price of $59,683.11, with electricity costs reaching 70.20%.
