TechFlow reports that on February 27, according to on-chain investigator ZachXBT, the Pump.Fun social media account hack is directly linked to the recent breaches of Jupiter DAO and DogWifCoin accounts.
ZachXBT noted these attacks may not be due to negligence by the Pump Fun or Jupiter DAO teams, but rather the result of hackers using social engineering tactics to deceive X platform employees—possibly through fraudulent documents or emails—or potentially exploiting vulnerabilities in the platform's administrative backend panel.
