TechFlow reported on February 24 that according to an official announcement by Binance, starting from 16:00 (Beijing time) on February 24, 2025, Binance will adjust the funding rate settlement frequency for the USDⓈ-M BANUSDT perpetual contract from once every four hours to once every two hours. The maximum funding rate range will remain unchanged at +3.00% to -3.00%.
The announcement stated that to guard against risks arising from extreme market volatility, Binance may take additional protective measures without prior notice, including adjusting the maximum leverage multiple, position value, maintenance margin ratio, updating the funding rate composition, and modifying the price index components.
