TechFlow news, February 24 — According to The Block, cryptocurrency companies significantly increased their investments in sports sponsorships in 2025. Data from SportQuake shows that 22 sports sponsorship deals have already been finalized this year, averaging $4.3 million each—up notably from 18 deals averaging $2.6 million each during the same period last year.
Notable agreements include Tether’s acquisition of a minority stake in Juventus for approximately $50 million, Coinbase's partnership with Aston Martin F1 Team to conduct all payments in stablecoins, Gate.io's collaboration with Red Bull Racing, and XBO.com becoming the official global sponsor of Argentina's national football team for 2025.
