TechFlow news, on February 22, according to an official announcement, Bybit has officially launched its "Bounty Recovery Program," calling on elite professionals from the global cybersecurity and crypto analytics fields to help track down those responsible for the largest theft in cryptocurrency history.
Contributors who successfully recover the funds will receive a 10% reward, with the total bounty calculated based on the verifiably recovered amount of stolen ETH valued at over $1.4 billion at the time of the incident. If all funds are recovered, the total bounty could reach as high as $140 million.
Bybit CEO Ben Zhou stated, "Within 24 hours of the incident, we received strong support from top industry experts and organizations. Through the 'Bounty Recovery Program,' we aim to formally reward community members who provide us with expertise, experience, and support—and our efforts will not stop here."
