TechFlow news, on February 21, according to BitFuFu (Nasdaq: FUFU) announcement, the company has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in an operating 51MW Bitcoin mining facility located in Oklahoma, with a transaction price of $400,000 per MW. The electricity cost at this facility is approximately $0.03 per kWh, and after deploying AntMiner S21 series miners, the cash cost to mine one Bitcoin could be as low as $18,000 (excluding depreciation).
The mining facility has been operational since 2022, utilizing air-cooled containerized infrastructure with operational stability exceeding 95%. BitFuFu plans to deploy S21 series or higher-efficiency miners at the site, which will increase its managed total computing power by more than 3 EH/s. In addition, the company has entered into a framework agreement with Bitmain to purchase up to 80,000 S-series miners (including but not limited to S21 XP and S21 Pro) in the fourth quarter of 2024.
