TechFlow reports, on February 19, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin clarified his role within the Ethereum Foundation (EF). Vitalik stated, "The claim that I held 3 out of EF's 5 board seats has not been true since 2017; since then, I've only held 1 out of 3 seats."
Previously, community member Ameen Soleimani initiated a poll exploring whether Vitalik plays the role of a 'king' (governance decision-maker) or a 'prophet' (value visionary) in the Ethereum ecosystem, with 80.1% of voters viewing him as closer to the latter.
