TechFlow reports, on February 19, according to Vetle Lunde, Head of Research at K33 Research, as of the end of Q4 2024, the number of professional institutions holding U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF exposure reached 1,576, an increase of 429 from the previous quarter.
The total assets under management (AUM) of these institutions reached $26.8 billion, up 113% quarter-on-quarter.
According to Vetle Lunde, Head of Research at K33 Research, by the end of Q4 2024, the number of professional institutions holding exposure to U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs reached 1,576, an increase of 429 from the prior quarter. The total assets under management (AUM) of these institutions reached $26.8 billion, a 113% quarter-on-quarter growth. The share of AUM held by institutional investors rose from 21.3% in Q3 to 25.4%, with IBIT showing the most active trading activity.
