TechFlow news, on February 18, according to an official announcement from Hyper Foundation, the HyperEVM mainnet has officially launched.
This version introduces general-purpose programmability to Hyperliquid's high-performance financial system, with key features including:
- HyperEVM blocks, as part of Layer 1 network execution, inherit the consensus security of HyperBFT;
- Support for transfers between native spot HYPE and HyperEVM HYPE, with HYPE serving as the native gas token on HyperEVM;
- Deployment of standardized WHYPE system contracts for decentralized finance applications.
