TechFlow news, on February 14, according to Jinshi News, citing five sources and termination letters, another category of employees at the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) received layoff notices on Thursday, indicating that the Trump administration's dismissals of federal employees extend beyond just probationary staff.
The notices were sent to dozens of so-called "term employees," all full-time workers whose contracts have end dates. The termination letters, dated February 13, were issued by Adam Martinez, the agency's acting chief human resources officer. Prior to this latest round of layoffs, the CFPB had dismissed up to 70 probationary employees on Tuesday.
