TechFlow news — On February 13, according to The Washington Post, a series of actions taken by Trump and his adviser Elon Musk during the first three weeks of Trump's second term have sparked widespread controversy. Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has intervened in 18 federal agencies, terminated 199 federal contracts, and attempted to dismiss tens of thousands of federal employees.
White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt criticized judicial rulings against Trump as "an abuse of the rule of law." Trump's team has suspended or canceled billions of dollars in authorized spending without congressional approval, affecting areas including medical research, agriculture, and foreign aid, triggering more than 50 legal lawsuits so far.
