TechFlow reported, according to CoinDesk, that cryptocurrency custody technology provider Fireblocks announced support for Sony's blockchain network Soneium. The network is a joint venture between Sony and Singapore-based Startale Labs, built on Optimism's OP Stack, aiming to support applications in gaming, finance, and entertainment.
Launched in January this year, Soneium currently has a total value locked (TVL) of $33.6 million. Fireblocks' support will provide the necessary custody infrastructure for institutional investors to enter the Soneium ecosystem, helping drive institutional adoption of the network.
