TechFlow news, on February 11, according to Jinshi Data, an institutional Fed sentiment model rated Powell's remarks as slightly hawkish but still within a neutral range. Analysts Jersey and Hoffman said that recent statements from Federal Reserve officials indicate the Fed will maintain a "wait-and-see" policy stance in the coming meetings, and Powell is unlikely to alter this position.
They added: "We are unlikely to gain any new information or insights regarding the Fed's reaction function from today's congressional testimony, as the Fed is likely to remain on hold at least until the next meeting, and questions from the banking committee tend to lean more toward political statements rather than monetary policy issues."
