TechFlow reported on February 9, according to Cointelegraph, Felix Hartmann, founder of crypto investment firm Hartmann Capital, said the cryptocurrency market may be approaching a bottom based on two indicators: persistently negative funding rates and broadly bearish sentiment.
He noted that funding rates have been "consistently negative" for some time, indicating more sellers than buyers. Additionally, he stated that "high-quality altcoins" have fallen back to their long-term trend lines, erasing most of the gains achieved in the fourth quarter of 2024. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index currently stands at 46 (Fear), down 14 points from last week's 60 (Greed).
