Rebecca Simmonds, a founding member of the Vega Protocol team, brings extensive experience in scaling blockchain projects and cultivating developer communities, positioning her as a key force in guiding and accelerating the growth of Walrus Protocol.
The Walrus Foundation is a core contributor to Walrus Protocol. Walrus is a decentralized storage network capable of storing and transferring large data files from any Web2 or Web3 source, including rich media content, audio files, videos, images, and PDFs. The protocol launched its testnet in October 2024 and is preparing for the imminent mainnet launch.
