TechFlow reports on January 27, according to The Block, Igloo Inc., the parent company of the NFT project Pudgy Penguins, announced that Abstract Chain, its Ethereum Layer 2 network built on ZKsync's tech stack, has officially launched its mainnet and is now open to the public. Focused on serving crypto communities and consumer-grade Web3 applications, the network has secured $11 million in funding from Founders Fund and other institutions.
Abstract Chain features native account abstraction, supporting email and social logins, key recovery, and has introduced The Portal, an all-in-one blockchain platform. Its ecosystem currently hosts over 100 community-developed applications.
