TechFlow reported on January 27 that, according to Cointelegraph, Poland added 10 new Bitcoin ATMs on January 27, bringing its total number of active devices to 219 and surpassing El Salvador to become the world's fifth-largest Bitcoin ATM market. Over the past four months since October 2024, Poland has added a cumulative total of 24 cryptocurrency ATMs.
Data from Bitcoin ATM Radar shows there are currently around 38,100 cryptocurrency ATMs worldwide across 65 countries. The top ten rankings are as follows: United States (30,780 units, 80.8%), Canada (3,062 units, 8%), Australia (1,389 units, 3.6%), Spain (276 units, 0.7%), Poland (219 units, 0.6%), El Salvador (215 units, 0.6%), Hong Kong China (196 units, 0.5%), New Zealand (191 units, 0.5%), Germany (173 units, 0.5%), and Puerto Rico (162 units, 0.4%).
