TechFlow news — On January 23, CFTC Acting Chair Caroline D. Pham announced the appointment of Harry Jung as Acting Chair's Chief Advisor, who will also lead the CFTC’s work related to cryptocurrency, DeFi, and digital assets.
Jung joined the CFTC in 2023, prior to which he worked in Citigroup’s CEO Office and served as Head of Capital Markets Regulation within Regulatory Strategy and Policy. He holds a law degree from Michigan State University College of Law and a master’s degree from Georgetown University, and has also held positions at institutions including Morgan Stanley and FINRA.
