TechFlow reported on January 22 that, according to The Block, Jupiter, a decentralized trading aggregator built on Solana, will launch an airdrop campaign called "Jupuary" today, distributing approximately 700 million JUP tokens to its community.
The airdrop primarily targets two groups: "users and stakers," as well as core community contributors known as "Carrots and Good Cats."
Of the tokens, 425 million JUP will be allocated to users who conducted token swaps on the platform, 75 million to JUP stakers, with additional rewards available for users who participated in governance voting.
Jupiter plans to conduct annual token airdrops every January through 2027. Currently, the circulating supply of JUP is 1.68 billion tokens, with a total supply capped at 10 billion.
