TechFlow news, January 20 — According to an official announcement, Litentry has unveiled a rebranding initiative, renaming its token from LIT to HEI and the project itself to Heima, reflecting its strategic shift from decentralized identity to a cross-chain abstraction layer. The rebranding has been approved by the community via referendum #38.
The new HEI token will fully unlock over 20 months, with total circulating supply increasing from 66.45 million to 100 million. Among the allocations, 22.1 million tokens are assigned to the ecosystem wallet, 2.2 million to the foundation, and 5 million to liquidity pools—all immediately unlocked—while the team's 4.25 million portion will follow the original vesting schedule. LIT tokens will be migrated to the new ERC-20 and BEP-20 contracts at a 1:1 ratio.
