TechFlow news, on January 20, according to Jinshi News, Trump will be sworn in at 12:00 PM Eastern Time (1:00 AM Beijing time on January 21) before Chief Justice Roberts. He will then deliver his inaugural address. Tech leaders including Musk, Bezos, and Zuckerberg are set to attend. Two sources said Trump is preparing to issue a large number of executive orders and directives on his first day in office—potentially exceeding 100—in areas including immigration and energy production.
Official event costs are funded by Trump's Presidential Inauguration Committee. Aside from the swearing-in ceremony at the Capitol, which is taxpayer-funded, all other expenses are covered by the committee. Bezos, Zuckerberg, Cook, and Altman have each pledged to donate $1 million to the committee. Media reports indicate that the committee has raised over $170 million this time.
