TechFlow, on January 15, according to Jinshi News, the U.S. unadjusted CPI year-on-year rate rose to 2.9% in December, marking the third consecutive month of rebound and reaching its highest level since July 2024, in line with market expectations, compared to the previous value of 2.7%.
The seasonally adjusted monthly CPI in the U.S. rose by 0.4% in December, the highest since March 2024, exceeding the market expectation of 0.3%.
The U.S. unadjusted core CPI year-on-year rate was recorded at 3.2% in December, the lowest since August 2024, slightly below the market expectation of a steady 3.3%.
