TechFlow news — On January 12, Jason Zhao, co-founder of IP blockchain Story, tweeted that he will donate all his personal AICC tokens (worth approximately $1.78 million) to support the development of open-source AI projects on Story and other blockchains.
Jason stated that Aiccelerate's clear goal is to promote open-source research and development of public AGI, aligning with his belief that AI must be open-source, decentralized, and public. He is donating his first million dollars in AICC tokens to high-quality teams building open-source projects that advance AI development while supporting Story’s vision for a universal AI IP system. The donation will be distributed based on project milestones, with full transparency, and all tokens will be used solely for research purposes.
