TechFlow news, January 12 — Decentralized AI infrastructure project Nodepay announced it will launch its first airdrop on January 14.
According to official documentation, the native token NC serves multiple functions: first, as a means of payment for network services, allowing users to pay for real-time data acquisition (Node Collect), AI crawling, and search queries (Node Search); second, staking rewards, enabling users to stake NC with validator nodes to earn returns; and third, ecosystem governance, granting token holders voting rights on proposals regarding partner integration and incentive mechanisms.
Regarding network fees, although clients and AI companies may pay using USD, USDC, or other tokens, all revenue will ultimately be converted into NC and distributed proportionally to bandwidth node operators, validators, and other ecosystem participants. To ensure network security, validators are required to stake NC tokens, and any detected malicious behavior will result in penalties.
