TechFlow reports that on January 12, Yu Xian, founder of SlowMist, revealed that multiple project X accounts—including Aizel Network and Foresight Ventures—have recently suffered phishing attacks. The attackers used copyright infringement claims as a pretext to intimidate and deceive victims into disclosing sensitive information such as account passwords, two-factor authentication (2FA) codes, and KYC documents.
Yu Xian discovered through testing that the attackers verify the authenticity of the information provided before using the compromised accounts to post fraudulent token announcements, particularly scams related to AI Agents. He warned users to remain vigilant against any suspicious requests for passwords or private keys.
