TechFlow news — On January 12, according to Bitcoin.com, Spanish cryptocurrency ATM operator Bitbase announced an expansion of its operations in Argentina. Currently operating over 130 ATMs globally and serving 4 million users, the company plans to open a new office and deploy ATMs in Córdoba by 2025, following the launch of its first location in Buenos Aires last year.
Bitbase Argentina CEO Nadia Karabin stated that the company will deploy additional two-way cryptocurrency ATMs in Buenos Aires and other provinces, enabling users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies and directly transfer funds to cold wallets without reporting transactions to authorities.
