TechFlow news — On January 10, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin posted that "the wrong path in AI development is creating new forms of independent, self-replicating intelligent life, while the right path is building 'mechanical exoskeletons' for the human mind. If we only pursue the former and neglect the latter, we risk permanently disempowering humanity. But if we pursue the latter, a super-intelligent human civilization will flourish."
Vitalik further explained, "enhancing human judgment is one way to achieve the latter at a collective level. Many current AI video generation creative tools demonstrate its cutting-edge form at the individual level—not 'input a prompt and wait,' but real-time aiming and adjustment."
