TechFlow news, January 8 — According to Coinglass data, the total liquidation amount in the cryptocurrency market reached $542 million within the past 24 hours, including $484 million in long positions and $57.42 million in short positions.
BTC liquidations amounted to $102 million, ETH liquidations reached $118 million, and SOL liquidations totaled $24.31 million. Within the past 24 hours, a total of 171,611 people were liquidated globally. The largest single liquidation occurred on Binance's ETH-USDT pair, valued at $17.74 million.
