TechFlow news, January 7 — According to Jinshi News, Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau announced plans to step down as party leader and will resign as prime minister once the party selects a new leader through a strong national competitive process. He stated that he has always been driven by the best interests of Canadians and remains committed to fighting for the growth and strengthening of the middle class.
Trudeau said that if factional struggles within the party continue, it would not position the party as the best choice in the next election. He also announced that Canada's parliamentary work will be suspended until March 24, 2025.
