TechFlow reports, on January 5, according to Tribune, a bizarre case occurred in Pakistan where a cryptocurrency trader was kidnapped inside a police vehicle. The victim, a cryptocurrency trader, was abducted by five men posing as police officers who forced him at gunpoint to transfer $340,000 from his mobile phone. The perpetrators claimed to be law enforcement personnel. Local police have filed a case and transferred it to the Anti-Violence Crime Cell (AVCC) for further investigation.
The victim stated that the suspects had previously contacted him regarding a cryptocurrency transaction, which he had declined. According to police sources, evidence related to the officers' phones and the involved personnel has already been collected.
