TechFlow News, on December 31, Lauren Stephanian, General Partner at Pantera Capital, said in an interview with The Block that crypto venture capital funding is expected to increase in 2025, as investors become more willing to deploy capital under a U.S. regulatory environment supportive of cryptocurrency. However, she noted that "a bull market cannot last forever," so it remains to be seen "when next year we might start to see a slowdown in deployment."
Stephanian emphasized that Pantera will continue making broad investments in the crypto and blockchain space, with particular interest in crypto AI, decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePINs), and new Layer 1 blockchains that enable richer application-layer functionalities.
