TechFlow news, on December 27, according to DLNews, Solana co-founder Stephen Akridge is accused of concealing millions of dollars in staking rewards during his "contentious" divorce from former wife Elisa Rossi. Rossi filed a lawsuit in California state court seeking the withheld staking rewards. The couple's nearly decade-long marriage accumulated substantial wealth, primarily stemming from Akridge's founding role at Solana Labs.
According to the lawsuit, Rossi described the divorce process as "prolonged and highly disputed." As part of the divorce settlement, she was entitled to a portion of the proceeds from SOL tokens, but Akridge failed to deliver the staking rewards, causing her to lose "millions of dollars." After discovering Akridge had concealed these staking rewards, Rossi repeatedly contacted him requesting their return, only to receive dismissive responses.
