TechFlow news, on December 26, Vitalik posted on X saying: "I'm delighted to become the adoptive father of Moo Deng. Over the next two years, as she grows up, I will donate 10 million Thai baht to support her—and perhaps even more, as I've set aside 88 ETH for Moo Deng and her relatives. Wishing them health and longevity."
Earlier report: Vitalik Buterin donated 10 million Thai baht (approximately $292,200) through the wildlife sponsorship program at Thailand's Khao Kheow Open Zoo to support the young hippo Moo Deng and her family. The donation will be made in two installments, with the first completed on December 26, 2024, and the second scheduled within one year, with the exact timing to be announced later.
