TechFlow reports on December 25 that PancakeSwap, a decentralized exchange, released its 2024 annual report showing a total trading volume of $310.6 billion across nine blockchain networks, a 179% year-on-year increase. The platform set a new single-day trading volume record of $3.47 billion on December 16, with total value locked (TVL) rising to $2.17 billion and the number of unique traders surpassing 14.3 million.
The report also revealed that in 2024, 455.5 million CAKE tokens were burned, resulting in a net burn of 5.3 million tokens, permanently removing 1.37% of the token's total supply. Additionally, the platform launched several new features this year, including zero-fee and gasless swaps, BNB meme initiatives, and Telegram-based trading prediction bots.
