These remarks came amid a discussion thread sparked by a post about the Fed's latest policy decisions.
Previously, President-elect Trump also targeted the Federal Reserve, arguing he should have a say in monetary policy and interest rate setting. The Federal Reserve and its Chair Powell have been frequent targets of Trump’s attacks, despite Trump having appointed him during his first term. Recently, he mocked Powell's job as "the best job in government," saying: "You go into the office once a month and then say, 'Let's see, let's flip a coin.'"
