TechFlow news, on December 23, Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao posted on X yesterday stating, "Recently, I've noticed some people receiving cryptocurrency by accepting private keys or hardware wallets.
The givers still retain access to these cryptocurrencies. You should transfer the received cryptocurrency to your own address. Or even better, have the giver send the cryptocurrency directly to an address you control.
It's a bad idea to allow two people access to the same key (or seed phrase). When these cryptocurrencies are transferred (or hacked), it becomes nearly impossible to prove who made the transfer (or who was hacked)."
