TechFlow news — On December 20, according to Cointelegraph, the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) announced today that Hexarq, a cryptocurrency subsidiary of French bank BPCE, has obtained authorization as a Cryptocurrency Asset Service Provider (CASP).
With this approval, Hexarq is now officially authorized to offer a range of crypto services, including cryptocurrency custody, and buying, selling, and trading of cryptocurrencies against the euro.
Haxarq is set to launch cryptocurrency investment services within the Banque Populaire and Caisse d'Épargne networks starting in 2025.
