Following this acquisition, Hut 8’s total bitcoin holdings reached 10,096 BTC, with a market value exceeding $1 billion based on current prices, placing the company among the top ten globally for corporate bitcoin holdings. The company stated it will utilize its bitcoin reserves through various strategies including options trading, staking, and sales, and will maintain an "opportunistic approach" toward potential further acquisitions.
