TechFlow news, December 18 — According to The Block, World Liberty Financial (WLFI), the DeFi platform backed by the Trump family, announced a long-term strategic partnership with Ethena Labs. As the first initiative of this collaboration, WLFI plans to integrate Ethena's yield-generating token sUSDe into its protocol, with a related proposal set to be submitted for governance voting this week.
Zak Folkman, co-founder of WLFI, stated that the partnership with Ethena Labs will help the platform further its mission of financial inclusion. WLFI has reportedly purchased $600,000 worth of ENA tokens, demonstrating long-term confidence in the Ethena network. The two parties plan to use sUSDe as WLFI's first collateral asset on the Aave protocol. Even if the governance vote does not pass, both companies will continue exploring other collaboration opportunities.
