TechFlow news, December 18 — According to CoinDesk, Swiss crypto custodian Taurus has formed a strategic partnership with Temenos, a global core banking software provider. Temenos currently operates 67 offices across 40 countries and serves over 3,000 banks and financial institutions. Through this collaboration, banks using Temenos systems will be able to create cryptocurrency wallets with one click, enabling seamless integration with traditional accounts.
Lamine Brahimi, co-founder of Taurus, said partner banks will gain access to a range of digital assets including cryptocurrencies, tokenized securities, and stablecoins. The integrated solution supports automated deposits and withdrawals, transfers, real-time accounting, and compliance reporting. Notably, Taurus already provides crypto custody services to institutions such as Deutsche Bank and State Street Bank, and this marks the first fully integrated digital asset custody platform with Temenos.
