TechFlow news, December 17 — According to SoSoValue data, the crypto market experienced a correction today. The NFT sector saw the largest pullback with a 24-hour decline of -10.66%. Within this sector, MOCA, which surged over 3x the previous day, dropped -60.22%, Magic Eden (ME) fell -13.44%, and Blur (BLUR) declined -7.62%.
On the upside, BTC rose 1.68% in 24 hours, while the CeFi sector gained 1.5%, with Bitget Token (BGB) surging 16.61% and Cronos (CRO) up 7.18%. The PayFi sector increased by 1.17%, led by XRP (XRP) which climbed 2.74%.
In other sectors, DeFi declined -1.13%, Layer 1 fell -1.44%, AI dropped -1.46%, and Meme tokens slid -2.69%. The DePIN sector, which had gained over 3% yesterday, saw a significant correction with a 24-hour drop of -4.37%, including Helium (HNT) down -9.15% and Grass (GRASS) off -10.50%.
