TechFlow news, December 11 — According to BitcoinMagazine, Eric Trump, second son of Donald Trump and Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, was interviewed backstage at the Bitcoin Middle East & North Africa (Bitcoin MENA) Conference in Abu Dhabi, where he responded to the question: "Why is Bitcoin a better investment than real estate?" As an heir to a real estate tycoon family, Eric highlighted key differences between Bitcoin and traditional real estate investments:
1) In terms of liquidity, Bitcoin can be instantly traded and converted into cash, whereas real estate development projects require five years on average, with a monetization cycle reaching up to two years;
2) Regarding operational costs, Bitcoin transactions do not require intermediaries such as banks, lawyers, or title companies;
3) In risk management, Bitcoin is immune to natural disasters such as fires, floods, and tornadoes;
4) For asset transfer, Bitcoin enables seamless cross-border mobility, while physical properties like Trump Tower cannot be easily transferred across different markets.
As an heir to the Trump family's real estate empire, Eric stated that investing in cryptocurrency represents strategic positioning for the future, emphasizing that early adopters will achieve success, while hesitant investors may miss critical opportunities.
