TechFlow reported, on December 11, according to official information, OCBC Bank's Global Personal Banking Services sent an email notification to its customers stating: To retain their accounts, customers must confirm to OCBC Bank by December 15, 2024, that they still reside in Singapore.
If OCBC Bank does not receive a response from the customer by December 15, 2024, it will have to impose certain restrictions on the account (such as allowing withdrawals only but no deposits), followed by account closure. Once the account is closed, any financial arrangements related to the account will also be canceled.
