TechFlow news, December 11 — According to Cointelegraph, Felix Hartmann, founder of venture capital firm Hartmann Capital, posted a prediction that most altcoins may continue to decline or consolidate over the next 2–6 weeks. He stated, "While certain altcoins might still rise in the short term, the majority will likely enter a phase of slow decline or consolidation. There are currently fewer investment opportunities in chasing altcoins, as many have already achieved gains of 2–3x within a week."
Crypto analyst Daan Crypto Trades noted that after breaking out of prolonged consolidation periods, Bitcoin typically rises by 30–50%, and expects a new upward cycle in the first quarter of 2024. Crypto analytics firm Santiment warned that if retail investors sell off their crypto holdings too quickly due to panic sentiment, it could trigger a sharp market rebound.
