TechFlow news, December 10 — According to Cointelegraph, Binance CEO Richard Teng said in an interview that it is too early to discuss whether Binance will return to the U.S. market. Teng stated that Binance is currently focused on its global business expansion and is closely watching institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, and high-net-worth individuals who may begin allocating to crypto assets.
When asked whether Binance would seek to persuade President-elect Donald Trump's administration—including a number of cryptocurrency-friendly appointees—to abandon or shorten its lengthy regulatory process, Teng said any discussion on this topic "is meaningless."
Teng emphasized that compliance is paramount. With regulations becoming clearer worldwide, Binance has the capacity to invest heavily in compliance efforts.
