TechFlow news, on December 9, according to Bitcoin.com, Iran's Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Abdolnaser Hemmati said that Iran is shifting its stance on cryptocurrencies—from imposing restrictions toward focusing on regulation.
Speaking at an event in Tehran, Hemmati emphasized the government's plan to mitigate economic risks posed by digital currencies while harnessing their potential benefits. He underscored the central bank's authority in managing digital assets and highlighted the potential of cryptocurrencies to promote youth employment, increase economic assets, and offset sanctions.
