TechFlow reported on December 9 that Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong posted on social media criticizing Caroline Crenshaw as a failed SEC commissioner who should be voted down. He pointed out that Crenshaw attempted to block the Bitcoin ETF and has been worse than current SEC Chair Gensler on certain issues.
According to Fox journalist Eleanor Terrett, the U.S. Senate Banking Committee will vote next Wednesday on the reappointment of Democrat Caroline Crenshaw to another term as an SEC commissioner. If approved by the Senate, she would serve on the commission until 2029.
