TechFlow reported, citing TheBlock, that Ripple CTO David Schwartz said he still hopes to launch its stablecoin RLUSD by the end of the year, though he acknowledged that upcoming holidays could lead to another delay in its release.
He added that ensuring Ripple's partners can launch in a "coordinated way" and "without running into trouble" remains a top priority, due to the complex regulatory processes involved. "It involves many moving parts. Most importantly, the stablecoin is issued through a New York trust and regulated by the New York Department of Financial Services—they are the gold standard regulator for stablecoins... They're reviewing all our processes, compliance, and everything. We're very hopeful the issuance issues will be resolved, and we believe we'll succeed."
